Movie Blog Week 1
So I have decided to blog a movie once a week. Don’t know how long this will last, but hey! why not gibe it a shot?
So, for this week, it will be the Odd Couple.
This movie is about two man who are trying to get back into bachelorhood. The movie starts off with one of the main Character, Felix, trying to commit a suicide due to a divorce. Too bad, the window from 9th floor at the hotel would not open. When he thinks the world is just cruel and evil, his friend, who is also a divorcee, invited him to stay in his eight room apartment. Now, This friend, Oscar, is very man-like. He does everything fast and does not like cleaning. Oscar thinks this loving affection would calm Felix down, but he soon find himself in a frustrating atmosphere. Felix is a clean freak - everything must be clean and must be perfect. (No wonder his woman wants a divorce.) His compulsive OCD soon gets to Oscar, causing Oscar to throw Felix out. But do not fear. Oscar’s light attitude begins to catch on Felix as Felix’s OCD is on Oscar.
Now, that’s a very very brief summary. If you really wanna know what happened, go to wiki or just watch the movie. I tell you, this movie is hilarious. It is witty yet charming. There was something that caught me surprising. This movie is almost exactly like Disney Channel Series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Suite Life on Deck. I’m beginning to wonder if Zack (Dylan Sprouse) and Cody (Cole Sprouse) are in fact a modern version of Oscar and Felix.
